Innocent is an artist in Malawi. As we sat on the banks of the Shire River he indicated a huge boabab tree, saying that this was the very tree where the slavers used to rest when they took captives from the interior of Africa to the slave markets of Zanzibar. The image shows him leaning against the tree.
