The School Bus
Among the woods of Upstate New York, there is an abandoned 1950's Chevvy Viking School Bus. I've been inspired by it, and the surrounding land, and based a painting and pinhole photography project on my experiences visiting it. Then, having completed the project, I mounted an exhibit of the art work inside the bus. You can discover more about the project, and view a film of it, below.
The Exhibition Catalogue is over 80 pages long and features all the paintings and pinhole photography, photos of the exhibition and the animals that live in the woods, as well as essays describing the project. It's a PDF and the price is pay what you can. I like to trust people, so please donate first, then download the PDF. If you genuinely can't afford to pay anything, please feel free to download the work for free, with my blessing. For others, I'd suggest the price of a decent coffee, around $5, but if you can pay more, thanks, I appreciate it.
Notes; I considered doing this as a standard Ebook, but they can't be as widely viewed as PDF's can. Also, whilst the page resizing that Ebook's offer can be helpful for written books, for mainly photographic books I'm not sure it matters. I would advise that you download the book to your PC or laptop, and then click the 'Page View' button, then 'Two Page', and then 'Show cover page seperately'. That way you'll get the feel of the book layout.
You can order any images you see in the catalogue from me. I'll send you high resolution jpegs, which you can then have printed at your local photo shop. Each comes with a hand drawn image and a note, certifying the authenticity of the jpeg image, which I'll post to you. It's sort of like a NFT, but more friendly, understandable, and the note is signed and legal proof of your ownership (unlike an NFT, which actually has no legal meaning as yet). You can also order the Special Edition Folio, which is a selection of 18 prints that are between 8"x6" and 9"x6", housed in a hand made/painted folder. You can have my choice of images, or you can pick your own choices from the PDF catalogue. I hand paint and sign each cover, each is unique. This service is $250. Email me to discuss, please.
